Robert "Bob" Douglas Cassibo of International Falls died on Friday, May 20, 2005 at the Falls Memorial Hospital.
Robert was born April 28, 1927 and was a lifelong resident of International Falls. On October 8th, 1951 he was united in marriage to Velva M. Nilson in Seattle, Washington.
He worked for Boise Cascade Insulite Division for over 41 years. He started out as a trim checker and retired as a press operator.
Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and traveling. He especially enjoyed wintering in Arizona following his retirement. He was a member of the Moose club and founding member of the Can-Am CB Club.
He is preceded in death by his parents Edward & Verna Cassibo. Wife Velva Cassibo. Twin sons Donald & Daniel Cassibo, Sister Margaret Jensen and Brothers Iver & Vernon.
He is survived by his Son Doug Cassibo and daughters Diane (David) Doris and Debora (Ken) Long. Brothers Leo and Gordon. Sisters Edith Romosz, Lila Barthel, Sherlie Boe, and Beatrice Patterson. Six grandchildren; Michael, Robert, Angela and Erick Cassibo, Davina Doris & Rob Greenwaldt and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 24th, 2005 at the Green-Larsen Mortuary in International Falls at 11:00 am.
