Judy Ann Olson

Judy Ann (Grahn) Olson, 76, of International Falls, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, MN surrounded by her husband and children. Judy was the beloved wife of Leonard Art Olson for over 58 beautiful years. She is survived by her children, the 5 D’s: Debra (Tom) Winge of Solway, MN; Dave Olson of the greater Puposky area, MN; DeNell Pumper of Int’l Falls, MN; Darin (Julie) Olson of Loveland, CO; and Dawn (Ed) Gehlert of Kelliher, MN; as well as 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Judy was the eldest daughter of Alf Hilding Grahn and Anna Erene Grahn. She grew up in the Roseau area and enjoyed attending the Roseau county fair. She has three loving sisters: Carol Johnson, Joan (Dick) Mollers, and Ida Mae (Gary) Johnson. Judy’s love showed no bounds… the intense love for her husband was evident until the very end. She enjoyed getting together for family events and visiting with friends. She had many of her children’s friends who also called her mom. She loved spending time at the lake; fishing, sitting by bon fires, letting the sun radiate into her body. Judy was a skilled crafter; sewing, knitting and crocheting. She enjoyed sports; watching Vikings football and attending BSU hockey games. She loved tending to her garden and made sure each of her children had a division of her first and favorite rose plant. Her beautiful eyes, smile and witty sense of humor will be missed by all. Funeral services will be held at the Evangelical Covenant Church on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in International Falls.
