Loraine Selma “Buddy” “Nanny” Bruce, 92, of Littlefork, Minnesota, died on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the Littlefork Care Center. She was born on July 31, 1926 at Bigfork, MN. The former Loraine Nordstrand was united in marriage to Allan Barclay Bruce. Her hobbies included gardening, tap dancing, fishing, traveling to California to visit siblings, spending time on the phone and most of all spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allan Bruce; parents, John and Helen (Thydean) Nordstrand; brothers, Leslie, Kenneth, Edwin, Bob; sisters, Gladys Kjellaas, Grace Swanson, Rose Miller, Beverly Tivey; daughter-in-law, Lyn Bruce, and great-granddaughter, Alicia Larsen. Loraine is survived by her son, Bradley Bruce; daughter, Sandra Heem; grandchildren, Jeff (Sue) Bruce, Rebecca (Tim) Fisher, Jennifer (Jed) Rohlf, Janelle (Ryan) Heem, Amy (Nick) Siltman, Adam Bruce, Amber Bruce; great-grandchildren, Brianna Bruce, Ryan Tremain, Allison Taschuk, Paige Taschuk, Rylie Bloom, Avril Bruce, Ashlyn Siltman, Finn Rohlf, Barclay Rohlf; sisters-in-law, Kathy Nordstrand, Jean Nordstrand; and numerous nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 11:00 am at Green-Larsen Mortuary. Interment will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery. If so desired, memorials would be preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association in Loraine’s memory.
